JFAV Lobby in the US Congress,2013

Target Lobby by 2016

Garcia added, “It was an uphill fight and like pulling teeth, each and every veterans benefits bill was like a baby step that the US Congress have granted since 1989.

But up to now, the military pensions  and even the lump sum that the Filipino Veterans deserve has not been given by the US Congress and the DVA  even if there are only 28,000 veterans still living and 68,000 survivors still waiting for their benefits.

Garcia also said, “Out of the 46,000 veterans who claimed for lump sum, the DVA only gave out 18,000 claims. More than 25,000 claims were denied by the DVA.

The GOP also has been blocking the Filipino Veterans bill ever since. In 2013, Rep. Jeffrey Miller of Florida , Veterans Committee Chair in the House, promised JFAV a hearing but reneged on his promise when he won his seat in the contested elections in his district.

“HENERAL LUNA” ISANG PANIMULANG PAGTATANGKA SA PAGBABAGONG PURING PELIKULANG PILIPINO

Movie Rebyu
Nobyembre 21, 2015

Heneral Luna

Kalakasan at KahinaanHeneral Luna2

Pahapyaw at Mababaw

Heneral Luna3

Subalit nakatutuwang isa itong pagtatangka.
